According to a report by BarghNews, the investors of 106 solar power plant projects across Iran have been officially introduced to the National Development Fund of Iran (NDFI).
This initiative, coordinated by the Ministry of Energy and the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization (SATBA), aims to accelerate the development of solar energy infrastructure and attract private sector participation in renewable energy production.
The introduction of these investors to NDFI marks an important step toward securing long-term financing and strengthening collaboration between the public and private sectors. By providing access to dedicated financial resources, the fund is expected to facilitate the implementation of projects that contribute to Iran’s clean energy transition.
Experts emphasize that supporting private investors through stable funding mechanisms will significantly boost the country’s renewable capacity and help meet national sustainability goals in the coming years.
